Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
What`s Involved
- Checking of electrical circuits and equipment for overloads
- Looking for any areas where earthing or bonding isn`t present
- Checking for any potential shock or fire hazards
- Detecting any defective electrical installations
- Testing that equipment is safe
How it Works
If you choose to go with us our electricians will visit your property and carry out the EICR inspection. This typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
After payment for the inspection has been completed the electrician will issue their report, which can have one of two of the possible outcomes:
Satisfactory
1 The property passed its electrical inspection!
2 The electrician will provide you with the EICR report in pdf format (other formats are available on request)
Unsatisfactory
1 The property has unfortunately not passed its inspection, remedial work will have to be carried out to make it comply with current regulations.
2 If you wish, the electrician will provide you with a quotation for how much it will cost to carry out the remedial works.
3 If you accept the quotation, the electrician will carry out the work and issue you an EICR report for you property.
